Spenning Studio
  • Coach-guided warm-up, main set, and cool-down
  • Clear cues: cadence, effort, breathing, and positioning
  • Options to ride by RPE, heart rate, or power
  • Small-group energy + clean studio standards

No. We’ll help you set up and choose the right effort level.

Not at all. You can ride by feel (RPE). Metrics are optional.

Most sessions run 45 / 60 minutes (depending on the schedule).

You won’t be singled out—coaching is supportive, and you always have options.

Endurance is the best starting point for most riders.

VeloCité’s spinning service offers high-energy, coach-guided indoor cycling sessions designed to help riders train with purpose, improve fitness, and enjoy the ride in a supportive community environment.

Classes are offered at VeloCité, located at 138 Principale St A, Gatineau, Quebec J9H 3M4, in the Aylmer area, where beginners and experienced cyclists are both welcome. The studio features structured workouts, smart progression, motivating music, and clear coaching cues for cadence, breathing, effort, and positioning.

Riders can choose from different class formats, including Orange, a session focused on staying in the orange zone for much of the ride; Strength and Endurance, which emphasizes hills, climbing, and sustained effort; and Duathlon, a hybrid class that combines 20 minutes of running with 40 minutes of spinning.

Each session is built to be engaging, performance-driven, and adaptable, allowing participants to choose their intensity, track progress, and leave stronger after every class while building confidence, consistency, and a stronger connection to the local cycling community.

Our coaches can help you ride by RPE, heart rate, or power so you can train at the right level from day one. If you want a simple explanation of RPE before your first session, this guide from TrainingPeaks is a helpful place to start. Riders who also train outdoors can explore our bike services in Gatineau to keep their bikes running smoothly between classes.
